Lincoln Is Doing Better!

Hey Everyone...sorry to keep you hanging with lack of news on Lincoln. He is doing good! Everyday since Monday (the day of the stroke) he has been showing signs of improvement. He is starting to fix his eyes on objects and tracking them. He is even smiling more and found the TV over his bed again. His head control is getting better also. It's amazing to see how he is already starting to compensate for the neurological losses and make those connections again...God is so good! Pray for his hearing...we are not sure if he has any hearing loss due to the stroke. He has not been responding normally to sound stimuli like he normally does. Other than that Lincoln is pretty stable. Pictures are coming soon! Talk to you soon. We love you all! J&K

What a great relief to read your news today that baby Lincoln is doing better. My family in Las Vegas is praying for each of you and standing in God's faith that Lincoln will be receiving his new heart in the very near future!! Kim Phillips, Matthew King's Auntie.

Hi JOsh and Kristen,

Praise the Lord for His Amazing Faithfulness in answering the prayers of His people for Lincoln! What a blessing it was to read your note this morning and to know Lincoln is actually beginning to focus his eyes on familiar things again and smiling! What joy that must bring to you both. I will be praying regarding his hearing and trust that it will not be a problem for him. We have an Awesome God and He is sooooooooooo Good. Please give Lincoln a big hug from Aunt Donna and let him know he is loved very much. I will pass this good report on to all the prayer warriors and I know they will be thrilled! God's blessings to each of you as you continue on this journey with the Lord.

Love and hugs,

aunt donna :-) Eph. 3:20

I wanted to share...
I found this on a "CarePage" of another cardiac mom... her baby had a second OHS at Stanford last month. But this is true... oh so true! This is to all of our FRIENDS!

“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving much advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a gentle and tender hand. The friend who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.” by Henri Nouwen

I hope you like it.
