The Time Has Come...At Last!!

Well here we are...you found us! We are finally heading down to UCLA to have our little Lincoln Michael Carter. Kristen is scheduled to be induced on June 11th....that is, if he doesn't decide to come earlier on his own timing! We are excited to see what God has instore for us and this little guy...and...very nervous also, as you can imagine. We just don't know what to expect when he enters this world. There are so many "what if's?"....so many "I dunno's?"....so much fear. Questions we can only leave in the safety and protection of God's big hands! We are so scared of the unknown...so nervous because of the past...BUT, God is Faithful, Sovereign, Just, Big and He knows....He just knows. For now we try to rest (ya right!) and try to contemplate the huge honor and joy it is to be parents again.

We invite you all to be part of Lincoln's life as his journey unfolds and we see God's work. Kristen and I will update his blog daily with pictures and updates of his condition and activity. Feel free to leave comments on this blog site or email us. This is how we will keep in contact with all of our loved ones as it will be a blessing to hear from you too! Until then...To God be all the Glory, Honor and Praise! We love you all! Josh & Kristen

Dear Josh & Kristen & Lincoln: Aunt Mammy (Janelle) will be holding the three of you up in prayer for safe trip & safe delivery. Don't forget that many many people are also praying for you. Lincoln is a fantastic choice for a name! We love you, and Jesus loves you, too!

Josh, Kristen, & Lincoln,

Terri, Matthew, and I will be keeping the three of you in our prayers. After Matthew’s two heart surgeries we were reluctant to try for more children. Your faith and courage has been an inspiration to us. We can’t wait to meet Lincoln. Maybe the boys can compare scars! Take care of yourselves. We will check in often for updates.

Love,

Mike King

Dear Josh & Kristen,

I hope you know how special you guys are to Randy & I and how much we treasure your friendship. It will be our honor to lift you all up in prayer during this time of "unknowns". It is such an encouragement to me to see that your faith is strong and you are trusting the Lord to take control of the future of your family. We love you guys and look forward to meeting Lincoln very soon!!

I anxiously await the delivery of my new little nephew. I already love him so dearly and he already has a piece of my heart. Although I am miles away, my emotions are sincronized with yours, Josh and Kiki, while we spiritually fall to our knees in desperate faith for miracles and blessings.

Wow, the time that once seemed so distant is already here. You already know how much your friendships mean to the both of us. You guys inspire us with your child-like faith in the Lord, your perserverance through the past trials, and your patience through each difficult step. We're praying for God's hand to be evident to all who are invloved, and ultimate wisdom of the doctors. We are excited to meet Lincoln and see you guys as parents soon.

Love,
The Doswalds

Hello. You do not know us. We are missionaries in Mexico and our son-in-law, Ryan, forwarded a prayer request. We pray for both of you and little Lincoln. We'll also have our folks in our "States" church in Milwaukee and also our church here in Mexico praying for all of you. God bless and may the Lord watch over your family.
